Just get through the rain tonight and the rest of the week into the weekend looks dry. Incredible how this turned out.

Maybe 20-30cm total for the ski hills. Crumby news.

Re: February 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
This is the slug of moisture the HRDPS models to put down some snow in eastern sections of Metro Vancouver.
The finer details, however, have surface temperatures around +1, dewpoints +1 and 925mb temps around -1. It's going to take some decent precip rates to bring sticking snow to the surface. Not out of the question, by any means, but the season without winter continues.

Bummer about the ski hills. I wanted to go powder skiing on Thursday but really I should have gone tomorrow and I booked that work trip. Drat!

Looks like this set up further East. No real moisture making its way into Metro Van. Only got 1-2 more hours of precip left anyways.Bonovox wrote: ↑Mon Feb 16, 2026 8:17 pm This is the slug of moisture the HRDPS models to put down some snow in eastern sections of Metro Vancouver.

Looks like another disruption by months end. Could lead to another Eastern Canada/CONUS cold wave.
