The EC forecast looks run-of-the-mill typical (definitely colder) with no special statement. The week doesn't look dynamic..

That's when I go back out. Wouldn't mind one last taste of winter!

Regarding those snow maps… it is beyond me why they keep wobbling that bull’s-eye around when this area scores the most snow with those streamers coming off the straight. I mean, let’s face the facts, I almost knew this area was gonna be in the score zone of any areas, as is usually the case

This week looked kind of promising and dynamic as people mentioned, and once again it fell apart but this time in the last 24–36 hours. I had a feeling this would be the case; it was always going to be marginal.

Snowed most of the afternoon and evening yesterday at SFU but the result was about 1 to 2 cm. Must have had more overnight and now in the freeze up here. Very icy.
So 3 cm if i am being generous
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

The next 48 look really good for Victoria on the HRRR. I think it also leaves the door open for us LMers, a little northward trend on that low could bring us some #surprises.

A little slush yesterday afternoon. Nothing overnight.
It's called clown range for a reason.

It basically stands alone amongst the mesoscale models as having that much moisture that close by, and it still leaves LM dry.

It really doesn’t look promising right now.

Looks like the snow line was at 144 Street in North Surrey. Nothing in Newton and nothing in Whalley. East of 144 St in Guildford/Fleetwood there is snow.

Mostly dry the next 7 days now. Not buying the cool southerly flow the models are showing in days 7 to 9...Maybe we finally see impactful Mountain snow in 10 days?

2 week -PNA with barely any Mountain snow. Crazy stuff.
