Full-on light snow, but it's now too warm to stick. Still pretty to see.

Hopefully next winter will be better. This winter has been such a dud that even your typical El Niño winter involves more lowland snow.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Early indications suggest a continuation of a -QBO next winter. Could lead to another +TNH...cold East is a lock. We usually have a window in November in a +ENSO phase but you can bet the house DJF is a lost cause next year.

Unreal to see models trend towards 1800m freezing levels with more Mountain rain in the mid range. :shifty:

Meanwhile recent runs now deliver another 2 cold troughs for Florida.

more victories this a.m. Nice. Keep checking outside under the radar echoes. There may still be more victories today. Keep an eye on the action of the straight heading   and also the cell heading   into S Langley
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Canada down late...

Edit: What a game, Marner and Canada pull it out. That would've been a brutal loss.

well this was our best shot of seeing any snow this winter lol. The troff axis is now exiting   out buttees. Slim to none for snow chances and slim is basically leaving town so to speak. King GFS puts us back into some chilly rains again, but we all know how difficult it is to get any significant snows in March. Tell em again Rubus!!

looks like one final band of somewhat organized and convective clouds heading   from the N Olympic peninsula for this afternoon. Prolly will fizzle out as it heads E/SE, or just be rain showers in the lowlands due to higher sun angles. But the local hills could snag some troffy flakes out of it

What do some of my fave buttees think?

Definitely a disappointment of an event in a disappointment of a winter. I'll keep my eye on March but certainly not going to expect anything.
