Perhaps these are just what could have been maps Kells had the surface temperature been 0c or below. Something new in our warming climate. :D

Seeing signs of the 4CH coming alive by early March. Models continue to do away with the West coast trough...and show rising heights over the West Coast. I am thinking we could see a mid March heatwave.

I recall March 2019 when we went from arctic blast to heatwave in a few days. Was stunning to see piles of snow still on the ground while afternoon temps exceeded 20c! Overnight temps were still around freezing though.

And weatherbell cancelled for another year. Can't really say that was a great investment but I'm sure I'll do it again.

Max temps this afternoon. Sorta pathetic for the coldest day of a so-called “winter.”

Abbotsford 2.1°C
Agassiz 1.5°C
Burns Bog 4.1°C
Hope 0.1°C
Langley 3.4°C
Pitt Meadows 5.2°C
Squamish 4.1°C
Vancouver Harbour 4.4°C
Vancouver YVR 3.2°C
West Vancouver 3.9°C
White Rock 5.5°C
It's called clown range for a reason.

Another amazing winter up here on the Sunshine Coast. 1 cm December 24 (that was truly special) and 1 cm today that disappeared by early afternoon. Gibsons got more and they even had a trace yesterday.

Cold tonight currently -0.8c up from -1.4c at 7 pm.
