A trace is not a zero (climatologically speaking) even if it's almost the same.
Never a snow season has ended with a zero in Vancouver.

Never a snow season has ended with a zero in Vancouver.

The Weather Network says differently, though, when it comes to a trace. And most online sources I've read say the same thing: it doesn't count?

So it looks like the record still stands since it won't officially count.

Not worried. Models keep showing this setup outside of day 12 but eventually correct itself with a few days. AI Euro and EPS continue to show a spring time pattern with heat building due south.

Early March heat hump. first of many the next 7 months l'm sure..

2 warmish days later next week. La Nina collapsing but don't expect any big ridges. CPC calls for a higher probability of a colder and wetter March overall.
