Don't be silly. That's barely even a March 1872, let alone 1951.HarrisonSasquatchWx wrote: ↑Tue Feb 24, 2026 10:04 pm March 1951 redux Jr. man.look at that insane cold.

I think we can all agree on this: If it's going to get cold, don't do this. Get actually cold and give us SOMETHING to track, not this same old 2025/26 bullshit.

Re: February 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
I might get one, and so might you, if I’m out of the area later next month, as I might be.
Once I’m gone from the coastal regions, you become exempt from the March jinx, and so do I (I saw plenty of March snow in the Midwest and the Rockies).
But if I’m here, it’s not happening.
It's called clown range for a reason.

This is interesting. This year is clearly an amazing year if you love snow.
Close to 1960/1970, and a couple more snowfalls to come.

Re: February 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
Major SSW event looks likely. Perhaps this is why the models are once again hinting at a colder pattern in the clown range? I'm still highly skeptical and based on how this winter has unfolded, I would fully expect the cold to go east of the rockies. But who knows. March 2002 repeat?
