Took a walk at Lighthouse Point yesterday. The fawn lilies are in bloom.

agreed. I used to be ok with chillier temps, but age has changed that i guess i dunno. Years ago i would go Ice Fishing in a blizzard at -6c to -8c and ripping winds. Now..rather sit inside and allow the fish to survive! Then there was the day we went sledding at -32c. If anyone wants to hear the story, i can elaborate. Otherwise i wont bother posting it buttees.

Two week snow extravaganza in late December and early January. Just kept pilling up.

Temps were also pretty marginal for Metro Vancouver; I believe it was an interior arctic air/coastal cold onshore flow type setup with a big gradient.

Some sun and milder temps will be welcome. The past few weeks have felt miserable, even though temps haven't been that cold. It's the lack of seasonal progression that makes it feel exhausting. March has expanded to fill the entire period between October and April.

I like temperatures in the low to mid 20s. When you start getting close to 30 it’s harder to enjoy outside.
