Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Will it snow or not?
I'd say if you are above 300 meters you will probably see snow tonight.
You need to watch the wet bulb effect tonight as temps are as cold as -3 currently on all local ski hills around Vancouver.
Flurries are picking up on the mountains as well.
The cold air will be drawn down as the precipitation intensifies.
Depending on how intense the precipitation is will determine if the snow level can drop further.
Right now there is some splitting on the radar but this should fill in shortly in the next hour or so.
EC says we could see between 2 - 5CM depending on elevation and location. This seems like a fair assessment considering.
Hopefully as January rolls in we will see some better conditions. Right now it is hard to tell.
Winters on the west coast are indeed becoming harder to achieve.

We seem to need to rely on wet bulb cooling often. Always starting from behind right WP?
Nice to see you've dropped in just as the snow will soon
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
There is precip falling right now. It appears to be in a liquid state. It seems to be making the pavement wet.
