Yeah but it wants to send it all East. I'm happy with cool onshore flow and good skiing though.

Ok yes probably due for that to happen at least we got cold in the heart of winter, maybe a slush fest for us is all we get.

AbbyJr wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2020 8:15 pm Thanks so much. :D For now I'm just going to make do with the one I have. I would still need to figure out if there is a way I could mount a 5 in one station. I assume yours has a wind sensor and stuff that would need to be mounted fairly high for accuracy? I could perhaps mount it on a 4 ft post in my backyard but that seems pretty low and I don't know how accurate it would be for wind at that location.

I'll take some pictures and maybe somebody can give me suggestions. I can not attach it to our house at all due to strata rules.
I used a satellite dish mount for mine and adapted the plastic mount that came with the sensor so it would fit in the metal pole.

Good idea l've looked up mounting ideas and satellite dish poles are mentioned, l conjured up the telescoping pole and that has worked out well for me.

There's lots of time for the models to swing back to colder solutions for us, so time will tell. Last time l was hyped up about it but now l'm just like shrug my shoulders or whatever l think alot of members are of that mindset now.

It just doesn’t matter so much anymore. Already had one pretty decent arctic blast, so it’s not going to be a total dud of a winter. The arctic blast wasn’t as long as originally forecast, but it did snow a fair amount (blasts can often be totally dry). Not only that, got some cold, dry powder snow out of it, which is quite rare on the West Coast. All in all, not bad!
It's called clown range for a reason.
