The Serpentine River and Nikomekl River were so high today they were almost up to the banks. I noticed the city of Surrey doing patrols today along the banks. It's cool when it rains a lot!

Thanks Glacier for the contest and the totals. Check out the results here: http://forums.bcstorms.ca/viewtopic.php ... 41#p275841
Congrats to everyone TWN  figures, thanks Ice man for crunching the numbers. Honestly l went with my gut feeling that we wouldn't see any clearing so went a little higher overnight and lower during the day, just luck.

I've never seen or heard of it overflowing, but if it did, it would be pretty crazy. A lot of farm land would flood.

Something looks and smells fishy. I'm not totally sure but I thought I saw sardineman slip a 20 to glacier under the computer.
Man,there could be 2 trophies on the fireplace mantel for the slippery and diminutive fish.

 ,makes sense. Hopefully you got a good deal by showing them your sheriff badge. ;) In my neighborhood the market still seems to be somewhat stagnant even though the experts say it's starting to go back up.

I don't want a backdoor blast. I want a legit one. Maybe I'm asking for too much?

I've seen those rivers at very high levels in the past, usually during long stretches of heavy rain of course, but never enough for flooding.

Apparently according to some old timers there was a time when Mud Bay reached further east to the other side of hwy 99 , i presume that was before dikes and the hwy were built.
