Could this be similar to October 2003? Thats a pretty hard one to match. Perhaps January 2005 is a better bet?

January 2005 was more of an extended event. That one lasted for five days and temps remained well above average for a long time.

This event is looking more dynamic; could see heavier rainfall rates than 2005 on Friday and Saturday but snow levels will plunge on Sunday as the heavy rain tapers to showers.

October 2003 was also more of an extended event. Looks like the highest rainfall rates of the 2003 event was October 16th. Think this event could match that?
