This event is over, though I wouldn't really classify it as one in retrospect.

Temp has dropped a touch to 0.9C but still getting light rain.

Still steady snow in upper Lynn Valley. I measured 12 cm on the deck. Time to walk the dog and enjoy the snow while it lasts :-D

Large flakes falling now, but too sparsely to really accumulate. About 1.8 cm on the ground in areas where it's sticking... nothing or light slush on paved areas.

Temp +0.6C

1.5 cm North Bellingham. Mostly melted, but now starting to stick again.

I wonder what the actual depth is. Depending how often they clean their snow board.

Temperatures were always on the marginal side with this one, meaning it could easily bust if it got a little bit too warm or the precip rate slacked off a bit.

It's been snowing for most of the day here. Had it been a degree or two colder, it would have been a significant snowfall.

Same huge. Large flakes but kinda sparse..not heavy enuf. It is packing likely due to my 300+ foot elevation. Days like today is where the Wetcoast needed to be on a 500 foot plateau to score over and over

I believe they go by the 10:1 ratio when the snow is melty, so basically they're saying there was 10 mm of precip, not necessarily 10 cm of snow.

Yes I would say lots of precip..mostly melting as it accumulates. I got about 5cm here but if it was below 0 all day would likely have 10cm already. It started melting here mid day...looks like temps dropping again. Would be nice to hang on to snow here till tomorrow am

Well, if those are the standards, then I got about 4 cm today.
