Mt Baker Ski area received about 12" of snow between 7pm and 2am with it continuing to snow hard all night, and it continuing to pile up. Crazy

I went up there last year around Jan 1 and they didn't have too much more than that. I really hope the hills can stay open this year..

Yeah I ski there every year, possibly other than this year lol. I went last February and there was a ton of snow, meters deep. They likely would have had the best spring skiing in years had they been able to stay open.

We drove to penticton last night, on the front edge of the storm but it was blizzard like at the top of the connector. We were getting blown all over the road along with blinding waves of blowing and drifting snow

Nope... but we often get our biggest rainfalls when there is no warning.
