Yes an area not too far away..with real winters, lots of snow, about 50 days you will see flakes in the air, true summers, mostly dry, and 4 real seasons. Now if you all believe me, i have some property up there for sale..pls pm me :thanks:

EC is being so conservative. What are the chances it doesn’t actually turn to snow here tomorrow like they indicate?

NAM 5km from this afternoons run. I have my doubts but one of those situations where it really could swing either way.

This is going to be a nowcast situation as usual in the Lower Mainland. If the low strengthens trends north (unlikely) it is game over. If precipitation rates aren’t high enough, it is game over. Etc. Right now, I would shy away from saying there will be accumulations below 50m, but I think most people will see snowflakes in the air. Considering how December has gone, I’ll call that a win.

I am expecting rain in Squamish tomorrow...cold cold rain. Maybe a few flakes mixed in but I am highly skeptical given it is showing 2 degrees and I think it may clear out too fast by the time the cooler air arrives. But we have done well sometimes here during these events. If all else fails I will drive 10 mins up hwy towards Whistler and get my fix

Isnt the cold air just lingering to your north all the time?
