Got my snow fix today. Black Mountain. A bit drippy in the Cypress base area but upper two thirds were great.

Ah yes Ty my man, l remember it now infact we had abit of sleet in Mission at the time. I remember Squamish got hammered with snow. Your correct after that an inversion set up. And actually spots at lower elevations down near my work near Sumas had a couple centimeters of snow.

The models have gone to crap again. 7-10 straight days of rain coming. Troughing not as dynamic (sharp)...most interesting system may bring 60km/hr gusts.

GEM looks like it wants to develop something interesting by day 10.

These systems from my other experience have a tendency to stir things up. Wouldn’t be surprised to see cold air get sucked south to us as it passes. Will be an interesting and unstable forecast for the next bit as rain and clouds dominate as systems move by and change the air masses.

Is the RAP and HRRR reliable for temp forecasting? Or should I stick to env can 12hr forecasts for the latest short term updates?

Absolutely captivating photos Ty my man. I use to moonlight years ago, but got caught with my pants down.

Mr Stuff, what thrives in +6C to +10C wet weather here?

Actually Radar love... BTS is much better and is more reliable than RAP that just hurts my ears for temp. forecasting.

Ok, who wanted some new smileys? I found a few, but still can't find a fork. But I found a knife. I almost could not remember the process to add these things to the forum it's been so long! They will appear on page 6 of the smileys.
