Yeah the report of 60 cm seems a bit off based on the pictures. But makes good media hype. In all fairness, even 15-30 cm was a very good score given the fact that the forecast was for maybe 5-10 cm at most.

I’m sure there was lots of melting and compacting because that doesn’t look like 2ft to me. Especially on the roof tops in behind.

Down to -0.7C here. Clear skies, calm winds and Fresh snowcover will most likely aid in producing some impressive mins for some areas tonight.
