I agree with both of you. Anyway, it wouldn't be a South Coast cold snap without a rug pull threatened.

Update: Lower Mainland

Light to moderate snowfall on Wed into Thurs likely. 5- 10CM?
Possible high gust outflow winds as well.

Moderate to heavy snowfall possible Saturday. 10 - 20CM?

Things still look excellent. Don't let a hiccup in the model runs scare you. It's still going to be winter conditions upwards of 2 weeks as it stands now. Things will change a bit, but don't worry.

That snow in Hope was not forecast AT ALL. There was a chance of flurries and it looks like it dropped a good 15CM.
These type of events will most likely happen on the coast as well and Vancouver Island. Things are brewing.

I'm really begging at this point to get some snow cover, then go into some clear cold weather so we have snow on the ground for a week. At least if we don't get our big dump it won't feel so bad because it will seem like we had SOME winter weather.

By the way, I'm at +0.4, DP: -3 under clear skies. How about you guys?
