Re: June 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
I just hit 38C at 1:24 pm. That would tie the all-time record at YXX. Yeah, maybe not 100% accurate since it's a PWS, but can't be too far off since YXX was 37.0C at 1 pm.

Re: June 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
Can definitely feel the humidity in the air today. Though it's still nothing like southern Ontario. I was there during the July 2013 heatwave when it was oppressively humid to the point where it was difficult to breathe at times.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 1:24 pm Temp 32ËšC DP 22ËšC
I do not ever recall experiencing dew points this high in the Northwest.

I'm still at 35C. Not sure why I'm reading low. Yesterday I was slightly warmer then YXX. Today I'm a couple degrees cooler.

The Fraser Valley had low-to-mid 20's dew points during the 2009 heat wave.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 1:24 pm Temp 32ËšC DP 22ËšC

Re: June 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
Currently 35.7c, dp 21.1c here.
The hottest temp I've ever experienced across the south coast was 40c in Port Alberni during the July '09 heatwave. Decent chance tomorrow or Monday could be even hotter than that here in East Coquitlam.

Not to worry Jr. could be a number of reasons enjoy the cooler reading while you can. Could be wind today that you didn't have yesterday. Lots of time to get'r in gear.

38.6c @1:45p.m.
the Agassiz station is a very poor representation of the Chilliwack area agree with EastWhackman, l notice next to the wind sock @ the Chilliwack airport there's a temperature sensor that l wish was online it must be somewhere.
Actually if you go to the provincial air quality site there's a list a stations on there that has temperature for various areas around the GVRD. Problem is it's not updated frequently.

Re: June 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
I actually think Abbotsford could hit above 40C either Sunday or Monday. Absolutely historic. Nothing anybody here would have expected in July or August let alone June.
