For those in the know, when you take the Pemberton route it comes out just north of Cache Creek, what's the sign at the Junction to Hwy. 1 there say? Hat creek ranch? I guess l could Google street view it but too lazy.

I'm so nervous...my in-laws family cabin at Paska Lake is under evacuation from the Durand Lake fire and then as of yesterday a fire popped up AT Paska, in fact the fire icon on the map shows it practically directly across the lake from the cabin. However, if it were to burn further westward or sparks flew across the lake...I can't even fathom it. That cabin has been the center of many precious family memories since 2004. I am praying so hard that it doesn't burn. 😭

I'm heading up to my cabin on Thormanby Island, that place just needs one spark and the whole thing is gone. Almost happened one year there was a kid playing with magnifying glasses.

FYI for other non-Francophones: If you go to translate.google.com and enter the URL of a foreign-language website in the translate from box, it will put a URL in the translate to box that you can click on to see a machine translation of the page in question. It is not always the best of translations, but is generally good enough to be able to comprehend what the page says.
It's called clown range for a reason.
