Its looking that way. Although the position of the ridge and stagnant pattern is looking like it could be a long period of offshore flow and that will certainly mean a smoke show this time. Like 2017. Big ridge and would have been record high temps if not for the smoke. Here in the Chilcotin we had a good shot of rain yesterday morning. It wasnt enough but if we can get some more tonight and tomorrow that would at least dampen the forests and prepare them for the next hot dry spell.

So just a trace of rain at my place and at my sisters in Rosedale they had 2.8 mm.
