More that he probably grew up in a generation of fear mongering over a natural plant that's been smoked and used for Millenia. It's a drug, any drug can be addictive including things like caffeine and sugar that we use daily and sell to kids. But I don't blame John or anyone who grew up in previous generations. Unfortunately the media and government lied about it and the damage won't be undone quickly.

I can't see any type of smoke entering your lungs being good for you. Maybe putting some Marijuana leaves in your arugula salad is different.

Same here, but when I tried the 2nd time it was like laughing gas , lieutenant Dan and I went into McDonald's and couldn't stop laughing while ordering, we laughed at everything and everyone, and that's all I have to say about that. And yes the munchies is definitely a thing.

Fair point. I haven't seen any major studies showing elevated risk of lung problems but if you smoke as much as I've seen some people do it surprises me there aren't more issues.

I heard that on the radio. Also heard this snippet..

"Cannabis users were more likely to be male, unmarried, cigarette as well as e-cigarette smokers and heavy alcohol drinkers, the data showed"

Weed101 doesn't fit that profile IMO.

I know three nurses who have quit or been let go this week because they didn't want the vaccine. The only male nurse I know has 1 day left. And hospitals are already short staffed even before Covid.

note: I didn't make this graphic, and so not agreeing with anyone who says there isn't a surge.

Yeah, our hospitals have suffered from a chronic under staffing problem for decades.

Wasn't there also a wave of nurses who quit just before or as the lockdown began due to covid fears too? I know that was a massive problem in LTC, especially in Ontario and Quebec.
