I thinking storm in a teacup
I think it will be a nowcast. If I had my guess, I would say this is just a run of the mill event for most regions of the Lower Mainland, but there is still potential for a more significant wind event.

My best guess is perhaps late Dec and Early Jan? Thinking about a nice prolonged ridgy period for November!

We generally end up with fairly good winters with a La Nina + Cool Oct/Warm Nov combo.

Areas near the water will do best with this set up. Either way doesn’t look concerning for us in Metro Vancouver.

"Both U.S. and European modeling systems predict massive swell/waves approaching the West Coast from this monster storm, reaching 30 feet on Sunday evening!"

"significant snow in the North Cascades and British Columbia this week." This part is good  :D

Factoid: heard this tonight listening to the Knuckles/Krackers game the renovated Key arena in Seattle collects rain water on the roof to make the ice, hence the name change from Key arena to Climate Pledge Arena first of it's kind in North America hope for lots of rain down there this winter.
