I'm doing alright...had a lot going on in my personal life which was taking up a lot of my time. But now that entertaining weather has returned, so have I. GAME ON!!!

Good to hear back for another season of refereeing the forums.

Satellite, 500 mb, surface and radar at 15z. It was at this point with the last deep upper low that it turned sharply northward. I noticed on the animation that the current one is just starting to divert towards the north. We shall see if this continues or not. Notice the radar echoes in California showing the heavy precip down there!

I was riding out the storm in Delta Watershed forest. Not the best place to be in a wind storm but it wasn't really windy most of the time. I did see a good size branch drop at one point though.

Seen some intense thunderstorms off the coast today. There was one cell SW of Astoria that was a borderline supercell (with circulation within).

So the “superstorm” is real?

Saw a few squall lines moving east earlier running N-S from near Tofino all the way down to the Oregon coast. Looked pretty intense on radar

I almost got the forum fully working on the new server, the only problem is that the backup was from last month so I will need to backup from this month again and get it working using that backup.

My guess is import the database and see how it works. Once everything is running identical to this forum, just dump the current database at that point and upload it right away. It SHOULD work, lol

We shall see Yesterday I got it to the furthest point so far. I am using PHP 8 so I had to update the forum version at the same time. I have to run upgrades.

Anthead how does Cranbrook do with regards to outflow winds? I remember driving through that valley thinking the winds must absolutely howl down through there, but it's more of a N to S valley isn't it.?

I'm not sure yet for outflow winds but we get some nice and strong southerly winds at least.

Sacramento had an incredible 138mm of rain yesterday. New all time daily record.

San Francisco had 102mm. 4th wettest day on record.

Also their wettest October since 1889. Analogue?
