Thank you! We been playing together for years and it’s a competitive division everyone wants to win and make the playoffs and win it all, So we take it pretty serious. We have practices once a week as well so it’s cool.
Hopefully you can get a goal next game !

Actually I scored my first in that game after like 25 shots this season and about 65 shinpads and outs.

Which league are you in? I only ask because that sounds super competitive that you could miss the playoffs and such. I also wonder in a more competitive division how many idiots are running around in a higher div. I play HNA division 2 which is solid but definitely choppy and defense optional.

2 games ago I managed to get a guy wrapped around my leg, punches me in the face and then somehow not only do I get a penalty out of it (he got 2). But then he threatens to take me out, which he follows through with a blatant knee on knee, luckily I wasn't hurt and he was gone with his 3rd penalty of the game. It just blows me away that these guys can even put their gear on they're so stupid. Some guys say that there are less of them in the more competitive divisions which kind of makes sense as winning takes precedence over being idiots.

As a d-man I take offense to the idea I'm supposed to play defense.

Actually in seriousness I had a game last night and let me rant for a second. So I play left side, but when my regular right side partner is away I have to shift over and play right side with a guy who literally backs in the goalie on almost every rush. It makes me confused but also the play who scores is usually my "check" but I have no idea what to do because The 3 on 2 invariably turns into a 1 on 0. But who ends up looking like a defensively incompetent moron? me.

However I have no right to say anything as I smoked my teammate with a point shot last night, straight in the head. The puck was rolling but I had all day to wind up and I still managed to shank it.

Hey you got that mountain biking that's a serious athletic undertaking in my opinion. I guess it's more endurance and determination over skill and hand eye but it all counts IMO.

Thanks. But to be honest, my bike is motor assisted and I mainly ride it on the roads so its not as challenging athletically as it may seem. Though if I put on the lower motor assist setting, then I do get a good workout, especially going up hills.

Hey...its not like hockey players don't use modern technology in our skates, sticks etc. Now if somebody ended up in motor assist skates that might end up being a problem.

Speaking of biking I've been incredibly lazy to bike since I moved out here. I went on a bike ride over to Walnut Grove during a torrential downpour in the summer and I was absolutely exhausted Turned out, the appointment I thought I had wasn't until the next day

Hey sorry I didn’t see this!! I’ll private message you the league.
You honestly get less idiots because everyone wants to win BUT you still have the cheap shots from behind. We had it happen a couple weeks ago I couldn’t play due to a injury for a week and our player got hit from behind which started a huge fight.

Wow man he could of really hurt you.. like affected your life. Knee injuries are no joke ! You don’t see that to often in our league because as you said winning is the main goal. The referees can be hit and miss tho which really affects the game with dumb calls.
