I was hoping for an early "warning shot", but storm after storm has kept us saturated. I think later this month or early December we're going to get some
Second half of December. I'm all in.

Some model runs have been showing similar amounts for this upcoming storm Sunday and Monday. It could easily end up less intense than the 1990 event but it does look similar in my opinion.
That was an absolutely stunning winter that year too.

Good night to get that canucks taste out of our mouths. Terrible pitch though lol.

I know that it's been said many times that January is the best winter month in Vancouver but for me nothing can touch the magical feeling of having snow in the holidays. Not even for Christmas but just the fact you don't have to commute to work and it just feels right to have snow on the ground.

Yes even the years we had snow between Christmas and New Years, it was like an extra present.
I can remember that happening alot when l was younger, hearing arctic air was on the way just after Christmas.

I mean, you DID say there's been a lack of pineapples during the traditional pineapple season of November, and now there are plenty! Ergo, by applying the same logic, since there's been a lack of icy cold snow during the traditional snow season, this year, there will be plenty!
2025-26 season stats:
Climo :cancel: ∞ to 0.5 :14clown: GFS

Season total: 0.5 cm and TWO traces!
Peak depth: 0.5 cm (01/07/2026)

Wow! Another 3 - 5"...can hardy wait, my mud was drying out. I was surprised this last AR missed us, it's been pretty decent with just the occasional shower.
