This looks chillish at least not through the roof wet, great for mountain snowfall.

Yep, exactly. If they want the fixes done quick then the military will step in.

Of course it will all be temporary... as many here have already pointed out, permanent fixes won't be possible until next spring at the earliest.

Here's an example of misinformation, on Wednesday someone mentioned the Nooksack was back in it's banks.
Now or Thursday Braun said the water from the Nooksack was still pushing into the Sumas prairie from the small levee breach.
So did he mean the water that was still standing or is the Nooksack still over topping it's banks?

I can see a sliver of the moon but it's pretty fuzzy must be some high thin clouds.

2.5c and about 13 mm of rain today which is a lot considering EC was calling for a few showers. They did get it right that it would clear around midnight though.

GFS looks chilly and wet to start Dec. Even borderline snow at times for the coastal folk. Anytime you see snow falling over the ocean is always a good sign for Sea Level Dwellers   Only 12 days away!
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Given the level of the damage and how winter is setting in, I just can't see the Coq opening before next year. Highways 1 and 3, yes, with temporary repairs.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Hoping to see continued progression of the models building those heights in the WPac as we head into December. Traditionally this is the point where they give us the middle finger and go "oh yeah did we mention? PERMANENT GOA VORTEX"

My father in law is a structural and mechanical engineer. He said it is definitely possible to get temporary measures in place but even they would take weeks and cost a fortune. I'm sure the powers that be are looking into all sorts of possibilities right now.
