Oh yes, John McKeachie was funny, always spoke too fast and fumbled his words. And he was always good for the proverbial use of the word proverbial.
Yes McKeach was good. I remember Bob Fortune CBC weatherman used a chock board spoke low had to turn t.v. up to hear him.
My parents use to watch the 11p.m. newscast with Mark Raines on BCTV.

Nice find Tees yes Bob Fortune did exactly the same.
I remember Norm Grohman used a sharpie and a map that would turn, same as KOMO's Ray Ramsey, Harry Wappler used magnetic weather symbols, King t.v. l didn't watch too much.

How much rain do we figure highway 3 might get with this next storm?

From what i have seen on here, i would say 2-4", depending on what part you're talking about. Western #3 will get more of course. I saw some rainfall totals for the next 7-10 days suggesting around 8-10" again by the time all these storms are done. Then like Nito said, yet another storm (#4?) shows up next week :bs: :bs: :bs:
Hopefully the models are wrong, and also wrong about taking away our snow in early December

Instead of the snowy solutions, the GFS now brings yet another eeeeeeuuuuuge AR event around Dec 10. Good thing its only16 days away for that one

And also for previous post, most of the rain stays north into Howe Sound, so hopefully #3 is spared somewhat.
