That's the tricky thing with La Nina. The absence of any WPAC blocking usually leads to a persistent GOA vortex in the early portion of the climatological winters.
GFS now have persistent rain for Howe Sound from Saturday evening right through Thursday morning (6 hour lull Monday night). That is a near 5 day AR. 12+ inches of rain, probably higher in some areas.
Residents in Squamish and Pemberton should be getting prepared.

There was already concerns along #4 near Kennedy Lake and Walley Creek. Not sure what 10+ inches of rain will do but we will find out soon I guess....
