What pattern did we go into after that event?

Meanwhile, YXX picked up 44.1cm of snow with a high/low of 0.2c/-5.5c on this day in 2006. Storm total was 53.5cm.

Share any experiences/memories you guys have from that snowstorm!

Personally I'll never forget how much of a surprise it ended up being, considering on Saturday (Nov 25th), EC had only predicted flurries. Can't replicate the feeling of seeing the fairly sustained heavy wet snow through the evening and realizing the forecast had busted in a good way.
We drove home from Seattle this day in 2006. Was raining when we left Seattle turned to snow somewhere around Everett I Think. There was near blizzard conditions south of Bellingham. It took something like 12 hrs to get from Seattle to the ferry. Took the 1045pm to Duke point which was one of the roughest ferry rides I have ever been on. The boat was crashing off the waves into a Storm North Gale and I remember the sea spray hitting the windows of the ferry. I think it was close to 2am when we got home to Shawnigan Lake with very heavy snow falling. 46cm fell that day with 21cm the day before. Storm total was almost 90cm. With a max depth of 67cm
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Cold and wet. The mountains got a big dump of snow on November 13th already and I was skiing on the 24th on Grouse already.

It wasn’t a terrible GEM run. A bit progressive, but nice little warning shot before the hammer drops later in December. ;)
