My god. If that gfs run verified this would be a top tier category 5 event. This is already top tier for me with that champagne powder out there arriving BEFORE the cold air for once. But if it lasted two weeks with another blast in January..just

Probably forgot the negative COVID test.

I’m at -7.5C and it’s lightly snowing

A couple days ago the models were saying we warm up by the weekend..now both the GFS and Canadian not only keep us chilly but send us a reload in early january. And the ensembles are pretty much convinced of that.

And there's more snow heading this way!

Wow, I managed to hit negative double digits with snow falling. -10.2C

Outflow seems to be shredding the moisture a bit. Hopefully a more intense band will come through.

Radar shows some pretty good stuff about to hit Abby. Also shows the party’s almost over here… for now.

Seattle also didn’t get a white Christmas this year, which makes up for 2017.

Bundle up, go outside, and take a walk! -10°C is the magic point where it starts to squeak.

True, although Vancouver did have flurries almost all day that year. It was just so light it didn't accumulate much.

If you look on radar, the low is actually hooking due east, maybe even east-northeast, inland, instead of sinking south-southeast like modeled. This could work out for some people in Eastern Metro. Not holding out hope for Western Metro, but #surprises!
