GFS shows a New years day snowstorm with cold onshore flow through the weekend but no reloads coming from the north as the ridge is further west with the trough out over the North pacific. No signs of a big warm up next week and good snow chances on thursday and then again on New years so I'd be quite happy if this run verified :thumbup:

Northern update: It's -35c, which is the coldest temperature I have ever experienced. The snow is quite sweaky.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!
