Putting this out there as I am usually wrong this way it will happen for us 😵‍💫
:tumbleweed2: With as dry as the low-level airmass is, that is highly likely. :tumbleweed2:
It's called clown range for a reason.

Lost Lake (smallest) freezes first, then Mundy Lake, and Lafarge and Como usually freeze at the same time.

Lafarge hasn't been around for a long time though (used to be a gravel pit) so before the '90s it was just the three other lakes.
Let me know when people start skating up there , the Fen for sure will probably be safe soon for skating as it is quite small and shallow, but I'm curious to compare to my secret lake ,it is a different kettle of fish or should l say a different can of sardines,as it is much bigger and deeper.

Puntzi Mountain has had a temperature range of 84.9°C this year!

-45.1°C on Dec. 27.
+39.8°C on Jun. 29.

Is it a provincial all-time record? Could be.

***

With a preliminary high of -15.5°C, Hope is living its coldest day since Dec. 1968.
