Aye l see as a lurker doesn't chime in. YeahVitog's contract wasn't renewed gave Gumps gas. and as for Skooks that was a complete mystery never seemed to log off or contribute for that matter. Once the old site went down that was it .
He or she never joined here so l came to the conclusion Skooks was one of those wonders of the world l suppose.

Wow! They do have fun. I liked the luge/kayak the best and thought I saw Gump at 6:20 riding his wheeled walker on the ice. I'm surprised they don't worry about falling in, it almost seems to be the whole point o fit for some of them.

Fraser River on December 20th, 2008 in Maple Ridge, where the old Albion ferry used to run. Water doesn't seem to be flowing so it must have frozen over back then.

Saw some pictures showing this stretch of river has also frozen over with this cold snap.

Yeah, especially out by the old Albion ferry dock. l recall some winters it was shut down due to ice. I remember this event and driving on the Haney by pass and seeing the frozen Fraser it was absolutely stunning with all the ice on it.

Just over 20 minutes since clearing the snow area. Fresh inch must have fallen. This is a relentless 5-6 cm/hr snow, good grief!

4 cm at midnight, the area I cleared for today's snow is already white What a storm! Just need some thunder to go along with it.

I'm taking my flashlight to bed with me so I can see it snowing. No street lights here.
