Locations: Stewart, Nisga'a, Laxgalts'ap, Gitwinksiglkw, Aiyansh, Terrace, Kitimat, Inland locations along the north coast, Highway 16, Highway 37
Snowfall accumulations: 20 to 50 cm
A winter storm is forecast to cross the Gulf of Alaska and intensify as it nears the north coast late in the day on Friday. Heavy snow from this system is expected from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon, followed by flurries through to Sunday afternoon. Some inland areas could see upwards of 50 cm of snowfall accumulations.

Looks like ~48+ hour Heavy Snow event for N Coast Inland sections. Wow. 50cms? How about some places getting buried by almost a meter!!
