Up to 3.8. Minimal precip today but lots of melting starting. Need a big push of colder air to get back to snow chances

Unfortunately the next few snowfall chances will be of the standard wet/slush type variety. No more champagne powder. :(

SSW trajectory of the upper level flow is saving us from heavy rains today. Would have been nasty with a more WSW orientation.

Lot of moisture aloft hitting the Olympics.

Can see S winds really ramping up shortly. That flex behind the front indicates a strong W-SW wind burst as well.

Winds have picked up here but only one brief shower so snow hanging in. Glad to see a bit of a reset on the forum as quit looking at the US due to all the bickering. At the end of the day it's just weather and we can't control it. ( Yet )😀

18z GFS is still showing a overrunning snowstorm Wednesday evening thru Thursday morning. System initially draws out some fresh modified arctic air from the interior towards the coast. Could be messy with ice pellets and freezing rain mixed in.

That looks like a classic overrunning snowstorm. It will be awesome if it verifies. :D  :flakey:

Doesn't look like too much rain on the backend either. Then it dries out late Friday.

Although it won’t be the champagne powder type of snow, I think we’ll get some surprises over the next few days.
