I’ve never seen this before (VR)… My Google search explains that it means “variable”, but is it common?

Looks like east Langley/west Abbotsford is getting heavy snow based on the current radar. Could be some precip enhancement if the bands are converging with the modified arctic front slowly slugging west.

I always thought your being further northeast outweighed the 50m of elevation I have on you but I guess not. Am I outsnowing you so far this winter? It feels like it. Maybe we should start an annual sadlands contest to see HAHA.

It's very weird. My area usually gets more snow than Vancouver for that very reason. I think last winter was the first time I got outsnowed by you guys, and it is continuing this winter too.

Still snowing pretty good. Not much accumulating, ground is too warm. Maybe 1cm on the grass. Pavement is just slush
