Crazy to think yesterday we were looking at upwards of 30cm, now we may end up with only half that.
And the recent trend of eastern parts of the metro area getting the short end of the stick would continue.
It's called clown range for a reason.

That's why the 10-20 call was the right one all along.

We live beside a massive mild ocean? This won't change until you grow a Mountain Range just west of Vancouver Island while also filling up every single waterway out to sea.

So either move or grab a shovel and get to work.

I didn’t know what to expect going up since it was my first time up in 8 years but my 2WD hybrid car with snow tires did just fine, that said there’s no shot I’d be trying to go up tomorrow with the snow we have coming.

This is what the last half of Hemlock mountain road was like, lots of gravel to help with traction but still hard packed snow.

At the rate modeled totals are decreasing, expect 5-10cm by the time the 00z runs are out. ;)

Check out the 18z ICON. It's already showing those amounts.

LOL, my 10 cm forecast from this morning would come out on the high end of reality.

Don't worry, the next great Cascadia quake will take care of that.
