I find in these cases EC radar gets the leading edge of the REAL precip (not virga) quite well.
2025-26 season stats:
Climo :cancel: ∞ to 0.5 :14clown: GFS

Season total: 0.5 cm and TWO traces!

snowing a little more robustly here- things are whitening up. We'll see if it will validate the forecast.

Cold day today. The highest I saw was -2.6c and now it is -3.6c. It will be starting as powder, when it starts... Monty gets buried tonight!

:14clown: range GEFS showing the arctic air later this month.

Looks pretty dynamic in the short term. After the heavy rain on Friday, 850mb temps drop to almost -10c again.

Almost east coast-like.
