Yes John when you said the arctic air was coming Dec 22 you weren't kidding. Even though others laughed. It just doesnt want to leave! And even when it does it keeps coming back with a vengeance. Look at now. This is ridiculous. -9c in Hope still.

For example, bommy Abby is sitting at a H 0.3 right now. According to EC "temp dropping to 1c this afternoon". Wow. So lets see.. even if temps go up as forecast (to 4c only btw)..its for 6 hours? Will it even get to 4c today
The cold is winning this year!

@Wintergirl. Oh no...now EC has snow in the forecast AGAIN Sunday night after a sunny day. Not to mention the snow continuing right to Saturday night as well. But not too much dropping the next 2 days though. At least you have half a day Sunday to shovel some more?

I guess we could chalk this down to Winter extreme weather. The coastal areas and Metro Vancouver never really got it but wow did the valley ever get hammered this time with freezing rain

I wont be surprised if we get another dump of snow Saturday..more than the 2cm EC is forecasting

Were walking a fine line in the central valley as far a major destruction hope the moisture taps off and the wind doesn't start cranking up out here.
