Surface temps are going to warm up a few degrees with the SW winds but DP are going to crash. Temps aloft are cooling.

Even with less traffic, people still manage to crash on the Coq. Interesting to see what vehicles are involved considering it's only supposed to be commercial delivery vehicles allowed up there.

2-5cm of snow Saturday, dry sunday, milder next week with potential flooding for parts of the Coast, more cold end of the month and/or something extreme, deadly or historic.

Oddly, from my first post this morning when it was +2 my temp has now fallen to +0.9

All ARs this year have been direct hits, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

AR #patternlock has passed. Im hoping we escape this one due to #cold/snowy

Incredible amount of ice, i'd say 3/8" - 1/2". Temp rose to -0.9C but then dropped back to -2.3 this morning when I left for work. Lots of transformer flashes to the east. Driving to Abby, temp rose to 0C around Whatcom Rd.

That 1st pic is very impressive! And so is all the ice hanging off the Tundra

Don't know if I have ever seen it before but walking last night about 10 puddles forming on top of the snow on an untouched soccer field. Was very strange the way the light reflected off the snow/ice/water.

Although they are more south, NWS says no to the AR next week

little rain on Monday. Additional weather systems will bring rain
at times into the middle of next week but there are no big storms
on the horizon and nothing very impactful is expected.
