No complaints about this weather! I am probably going to BBQ after work as no steak should ever be pan fried.
WTF, I only hit 8C today.

Now that the snow is almost gone it's just a drippy, soggy mess out there. Very stagnant feeling. Can't dry out fast enough.

High of 12.3c here!

Yeah, a dry week would be great but the precip looks to hang around unfortunately.

Unfortunately, long range models are trending away from the colder pattern for the end of the month. It could be that the models were just too quick with the pattern change and that models will trend colder for February. However, the latest Euro weeklies also backed off on any cold for February. Therefore, my confidence is decreasing that the cold will return to the PNW this winter. Hopefully we can at least get a warm and dry pattern if it doesn't get cold and snowy.

We can also hope for a March 1951 or 2002 repeat.

Regardless you've gotta try this new beer to go along with it. Sold out when I tried to get some the other day

Usually pair my steaks with some cabernet but I may need an AR of beer with my wings Saturday!

No kidding. Some runs want to get that AK vortex going which would be very unusual come Feb. Some runs want to go with a 2015 super Nino pattern. Either way I have a feeling March and April will be cold Sh*t.

The weeklies still looked cold-ish for february. They've been good up until this recent pattern change.

I have a feeling that it may be late feb before things get cool. Seems like there is always a 2 month climate switch time lately. Never stays extreme for more than 3 weeks and takes at least a month to go the other way. Past winters always seem to be early or late cold but never both.

Looks like EC finally updated the snow data for YVR for December 30th. Officially 19.0cm fell that day.

Still waiting for that elusive 20cm+ daily snowfall that all other major cities in the PNW have seen once or multiple times in the last decade.

Briefly foggy up here this morning, so I went for a walk and it had pretty much dissipated by the time I got outside but the creek was running high. :14popcorn: :14popcorn:
