Cloudy and -4C here at 4pm. Boring but at least it isn't melty.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
It’s been beautiful up at SFU today. Sunny skies with some later afternoon high clouds. Heavy fog blanketing all the sad lands below. Stunner up here. Fog blanket has dissipated substantially in the last hour.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..
Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Definite tiny snow/slush grains also in Langley around noonish st 1-2c. Talk about a micro climate, shallow style.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 10:21 am The fog was apparently so dense under 300m this morning that it allowed the development of snow grains in some areas (South Delta/South Surrey).
Not sure why the other forum is whining. The models aren't great for anything "arctic" but look solidly cool with SOME lowland snow chances or dry weather. No extreme wet either.
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

But I think snow comes on Superbowl Sunday, which is one week later than normal.
