Looks like a significant rain event on Sunday and then perhaps some snow Wednesday night.

Great to see some new snow for the ski hills. They need some new snow.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

lt was looking that way through December and then the climo hammer came down, l was convinced for awhile that we would out perform the east. It started feeling like one of those years l should have known better.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Yeah l don't know Ty my man, the December early Jan might have killed our Feb. chances this year eventually our Feb. cold luck would end.
If that's the case l'm hoping to see our first 16c seen it before.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I don't mind these periods of fake cold at all. At least it's dry... we even scored a few anomalous flakes surprisingly. Who cares if it's 10c at 2500 m. That's not our elevation
Bonus: the Similkameen valleys are immune to bommy ridge
Bonus#2: at this time of the year once the ridge passes, the temperature and freezing levels usually plummet
Good morning buttees

MAYDAY MAYDAY! We need some warm sunny weather this month. Some showers mixed in would be good too
