Feb 23rd was an underrated snowstorm. Nice fine powder, just came down steady and consistent for hours. Snowed all day and all night. It just didn't last long enough, the sun came out the next day and started melting it really fast. I would really love to see an intense 2002 style blast, we haven't had something like that in March in 20 years now.

We had a week of mostly cold/clear conditions before that snowstorm too. With some snow on the ground that fell when the initial arctic front pushed through the mainland.

Man. I don't think the words out yet, it's dead on here. I want to point out the most recent gfs ensemble is now negative almost the entire way. Solid improvement for an extended cold snap.

Come on snow!!!! I could do without the cold though, first lambs are arriving beginning of March, carefully planned so I don't have to stand around in the freezing barn waiting for them. May not have worked out this year...
