Fishing with light tackle like artificial flies is alot more fun. Dragging hardware around the lake is ok I guess if your only objective is to put food on the table. I think we've had this discussion before.

noseeums would be great bait for minnowsForrest Gump wrote: ↑Mon Jul 11, 2022 3:36 pm No black flies? No doubt rainbow trout love their insects but I thought you weren't into flyfishing. And I've never heard of no-seeum or hornet imitations.

Side note kinda, but weather related i guess...wow mosquitos are bad this year. Swarms of them in Willoughby..open the garage door or front door and they are like mini preds, follow you inside...then attack. These are like the mosquitos of the Similkameens...where they are literally like predators aggressively chasing after and attacking you
Thanks wet spring!!

^ My father in law in Alaska posted this...
BTW, Clinton was BY FAR the coldest place in BC yesterday. Also, the hottest spot was only 105 km away. Not bad considering the fact that BC is almost 2000 km across from from corner to corner. Also, only 70km from the 2nd hottest spot.
