Re: August 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I saw Christmas trees and decorations in Walmart yesterday. I saw Halloween costumes and decor out as well.

Putting Christmas stuff out that early should be a capital offense.stuffradio wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 6:27 am I saw Christmas trees and decorations in Walmart yesterday. I saw Halloween costumes and decor out as well.

Re: August 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Not saying I agree with it but the thresholds for a heat warning are lower in some places when compared to the Fraser valley. We are under a heat warning here as well. ECs forecast is quite a bit hotter for the east island than for Abbotsford. 34C today and 33C tomorrowSouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 2:52 amby gosh Ms. Fryingpancreeks
it is a carbon copy from a number of years ago one August.
I enjoy memories of day's gone by but recycled forecastsI'm guessing E.C. is into retro now.
Heat warning for Sechelt but not the fraser valleysomething's not quite right here.

That’s what, a third of the entire year? Ugh.stuffradio wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 10:33 am They play Christmas music from September until Christmas in the Philippines.![]()
I mean, Christmas is a fine holiday. It’s just that it has well over a month devoted to it already, when every other holiday lasts for a day. It’s not as if Christmas needs to be extended more or anything.

Re: August 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
That's why people hate Christmas because who wants to walk into a store in August and see Christmas decorations? It's all for money but man I get sick of hearing Christmas music from November to end of December. I love Christmas but why can't we just start it December 1st ? A whole month sure I'm fine with but it's just ridiculous.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 1:26 pm That’s what, a third of the entire year? Ugh.
