I saw Christmas trees and decorations in Walmart yesterday. I saw Halloween costumes and decor out as well.

Putting Christmas stuff out that early should be a capital offense.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I enjoy memories of day's gone by but recycled forecasts :? I'm guessing E.C. is into retro now.
Heat warning for Sechelt but not the fraser valley  something's not quite right here.
Not saying I agree with it but the thresholds for a heat warning are lower in some places when compared to the Fraser valley. We are under a heat warning here as well. ECs forecast is quite a bit hotter for the east island than for Abbotsford. 34C today and 33C tomorrow
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

That’s what, a third of the entire year? Ugh.

I mean, Christmas is a fine holiday. It’s just that it has well over a month devoted to it already, when every other holiday lasts for a day. It’s not as if Christmas needs to be extended more or anything.

That's why people hate Christmas because who wants to walk into a store in August and see Christmas decorations? It's all for money but man I get sick of hearing Christmas music from November to end of December. I love Christmas but why can't we just start it December 1st ? A whole month sure I'm fine with but it's just ridiculous.

Personally I love Halloween but I wait till october 1st to start planning etc.

That doesn't make sense, we just finished Christmas in July!

They could put Easter out too and have all the cool weather holidays covered.

I've been twice to the Philippines, in 2015 and... 2022.
