Re: October 2022 Forecast and Discussions
GFS seems like the outlier. CPC looking good for a major pattern change. Dr Cliff Mass was talking about the major pattern shift on his Podcast. If GFS is correct (back to ridging) this will be a major win for the GFS but I can't see it.

Re: October 2022 Forecast and Discussions
I am back - meaning winter is coming…. In 2023.
I love this fall weather but we need rain mixed in there too. Leaves aren’t so much crisp and crunchy as they are flakey and paper thin which I guess shows how moisture starved they were when they fell (??).
Smoke forecast doesn’t look good. Where I am smoke definitely lingers in the eastern Burrard Inlet. The smell outside my house is usually worse in these situations than it is even on the south end of Bby Mtn.
Anyway just saying heeeeeeyyyyy mostly.
Had my 4th vaccine today along with the flu shot so I’m all juiced up and ready and nap.

Re: October 2022 Forecast and Discussions
I'm preparing myself for the possibility of an epic bust for this weekend's high temperature forecast, but it's impossible to forecast with any precision so you might as well flip a coin. Could be anywhere from 20C to 27C.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering,as I was contemplating visiting one of the local watering holes(lakes) to go for an Autumn dip if water is warm enough, maybe even go out to Sardineman Way , The Village of Champions, and try Cultus lake.
