00z GFS looks wetter this weekend compared to previous runs. Still pretty dry for early Friday AM tho. Hopefully the trend for the weekend continues on the Euro but I won’t get excited until i see the rain falling

00Z GFS. That really isn't enough rain to suppress any fire growth in a meaningful way in the southern interior. For the bulk of the region anyway.

That is why I look at the GFS to satisfy my curiosity but I look at the Euro, EPS, RGEM, HRDPS, and HRRR to produce a forecast.

For what it is worth, the 18Z Euro was drier on Saturday morning than the 12Z.
