All showing some snow now.

Looks like snow will really pile up above 400-600m next week... lots of slush and cold rain below.

10"+ at YVR would require quite the perfect setup. 0 and +1C 925mb temps....would make it a really marginal setup. 10" at SFU? Maybe!

Those charts are in cm... but ya... pretty typical/marginal setup.

Elevation, precip intensity, time of day, etc....

Still a few days for things to change either way though I suppose.

I would consider it a "win" to even just see flakes flying at this time of the year. I would consider it a bust if this was December.

Ya buuuuuut, we also could get one decent snowy event out of this too. It is def possible...not the first time it would have occurred. :shh:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Hound...is there sleet or snow out your way? Clouds have that distinct look from here.

18Z GFS for Wednesday morning. This would be snow right down to sea level if it verifies.

I’ll be very pleased if I get a slushy 10 cm IMBY next week. That’s not bad at all for the first full week in November.
It's called clown range for a reason.

GFS does this all the time, throws some crazy runs, pulls back and then settles on a solution. We are in a pull back stage now, by tomorrow we will have better idea from the weekend.
