Yea. I’m getting pretty doubtful we see any meaningful cold (arctic air) before New Years, with how things are progressing currently.

Hopefully we see a few decent storms of things turn more active

We can get some good storms here with heavy rain, strong winds, and heavy mountain snow with that combo right?

Same here. These types of patterns tend to persist once they get going. Would be nice to see the mountains get at least a good 100-200cm before we dry out again.

I saw full leaf buds/shoots about 1.5" long on a tree in New West this pm. Didn't really pay attention to type. I was too focused on holding up my "Hi Nito" sign. Maybe he saw me?

At least the local mountains can recover with a wet zonal flow this winter. The similkameen is pretty screwed again this year. Lake level is down about 8 to 10 feet with no run off predicted for next year by the local Hawk...

Zonal chilly flow haven't had one of these for a long while could lead to something good down the road for us. Glad the east is not getting a historic Arctic blast fail!
